Amy is a proactive go-getter that goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way. Amy is described as an "energetic tomboy", though she does have the same feminine interests as far as fashion and shopping goes.

Amy usually acts before thinking thus getting her into trouble at times. Some people would call her assertive, depending on the situation.

Amy also hates boredom and loves thrills and excitement; such is the life of an heroic adventurer at heart. Amy has a very strong sense of empathy and a surprising capability for caring. She is very encouraging and is more than willing to reach out to all kinds of people.

Amy is very open and expressive about her feelings and emotions, always speaking her mind and never letting her feelings get bottled up inside. When she was younger, she came off as aggressive and obsessive about her feelings towards Sonic.
