To keep a city full of monsters in line, you have to be the biggest.

Oh, don't get me wrong, there's real police in this town. They do most of the actual police work. Something like for every ten people, only one of them does the work, or is any competent. We just do the things actual police can't handle. We deal with the beasts and keep up appearances so they can deal with the people, their people.

So most of the police, aren't. They're just enforcers. Our own that wear the guise, put on collars to be kept on tight leashes for when we need them. I'd like to say I do my job so well that I never have to put them to use, but there isn't anywhere in the city that isn't ready to combust on a moment's notice.

I do run a tight ship. Tight enough I usually don't have to see to things personally. That I've got options before I have to dirty my hands... It's just, I like my work. It's where I get to have fun, work a little steam off, perhaps give a reminder for those who forget:
