General Information.

Thiamat:

 Babylonian name composed of the Sumerian elements ti "life," and ama "mother," hence "mother of life." In mythology, this is the name of a primeval sea dragon goddess, the embodiment of Chaos, and mother of the first gods.

(Her pitcure is a Generalized look. Just imagine the scaring lol)  

 

Appearance: At first glance, Thiamat had been labeled as rather cold, reserved, apathetic if you will, because at first glance she looks the part.

Long, powerful legs have her standing at a solid six foot three inches, and the spiked tail that swayed behind her was only a foot shorter than she was. Her toned arms were always crossed in front of her, usually just at her wrists, and to top it off she has a resting face of someone who looks like they just had their cornflakes pissed in. At first, she really isn't so easily approachable for most, and as a vagabond, many scars also litter her body as well. There's even a very pronounced jagged scar that starts on her neck and runs up the right side of her face and over an eye.

 

Her horns, and wings are also always present because she can't shift entirely, so she has to hand stitch holes into the dresses and casual clothes that she wears for her extra appendages. All of that only adds to her already seemingly young apparence and overall intimidating look, but as soon as Thiamat smiles at anyone, it's like all of that attitude just melts away into a genuine smile that could outshine even the sun, even if it also showcased some pretty large pearly white fangs.

 

Affinity: Neutral Good

 

Gear: Thiamat has three weapons on her person almost at all times. 

•The first one being her personal magic staff that she is usually seen with all the time. Whether or not it actually helps her walk or if it's just for decoration is unknown.

•The next item is the actual combat staff that she normally uses just for healing and long-distance fighting. 

•And her third weapon is herself.!

•Enchaced Roar- Thiamat has the ability to shout so loud that she can blow away or break objects with ferocious vocal cords which can cause powerful vibrations in the air. She can emit a roar strong enough to damage others hearing, cause fear, or paralyze if she herself in in great pain and the force of her roar can even cancel out most opposing attacks in the air and whatever is in front of her. It can also be used to alert someone of her location. 

•Elemental Manipulation- Wood/Flora and Air.

•Mystic Healing- This applies to both flora and beings, and herself mostly. However, it can not out right bring anyone back from the dead.  

•Flight

•Magic Resistance- this applies to most illusion magic and psychic manipulation, and also towards her apposing element, but it has it limits since she is consisderd to be "younger."

•Pyrokinesis-This she can channel into her skin while in her human form and use it to melt through most armor and metals if she can touch it. Other wise, she can natrually breathe fire.

•Shapeshifting-she's obviously not the absolute best at this one though, seeing as she can't seem to ever get rid of certain features in her human form. So she settles for good enough!

•Natural Weaponry.

 

Weaknesses: 

•The fire that she creates can burn after a certain amout of direct exposure her, so she doesn't like to use it as ofthen as most might think. However she will use it for things like lightings fires,  signal flares in the sky, and even just keeping warm.

•Obsidian – A dark material capable of penetrating dragon armor.

•Mystical blood.- It's listed a weakness for her because it's only mystical for anyone else who consumes it, obviously. So people have been known to even hunt for it.

•Life Cycle – Dragons have a life cycle unlike any other creatures, so they could live past 500 years. Some can live 1,500 years. Others could even live to 10,000. But in the end, age catches up with us all.

 

Personality: For those that do have the balls to try and talk to our little dragon here, they will find that she is the exact opposite of how people first see her. It becomes obvious that she is just a huge teddy bear from her bubbly laughter alone, and her smile only further proves the genuine and kind nature that she processed and seemed to emanate from her very being! Once she smiles at someone that whole 'resting bitch face' thing she has going on fades into nothing short of innocent.
Thiamat is very polite and excited with everyone that she meets, caring, and unfortunately quite naive about people. It does take a lot to push this dragon over the edge, but if you ever do get to that point where she wants to crush your skull, then you were honestly begging for it in the first place. Even her companion Kirra wouldn't cross that line.

She isn't impulsive in the slightest but she'll follow along with others if she is convinced. 

It also doesn't take too much to make her blush either. She has always been rather bashful of herself and the concept of intimacy as a whole. Anything and everything in association to flirtatious touching, suggestive passes, or just anything lewd could have this poor little dragon wanting to bury her face and the rest of her body into a mountain of pillows immediately. 

Overall, Thiamat is quite the docile little reptile and friendly to just about everyone that she meets, despite what her face will lead you to believe.

History

 

Thiamat is the runt of her 13 brothers and sisters. Being the smallest of the litter, of course, she was picked on and a lot of the time left out of things also being the odd number out. It was lonely but because they were her family, she lived with it for a while.

Luckily a certain Basilisk had just so happened to walk into her life one day to steal Thia's attention and maybe her heart as well, in a platonic way. 

 

Fun fact.(?) A lot of other dragons do hibernate as well. Especially when there’s a lack of food or if they have long lifespans or if they are just plain bored. Thia has hibernated once, for 300 years of her early life before meeting Kirra. To this day she still sleeps like a rock.
