Jinx carries with her the fortunate abilities to cause bad luck to whomever she wishes through the usage of telekinetic abilities and energy blasts. These spurs of bad luck usually happens in the most awkward of ways, yet working to her utmost advantage to disable her opponents defensive and offensive able. Also being quite the nimble deviant, she can become a bothersome opponent just by avoiding many attacks through various gymnastics. Combining these two attributes, Jinx leads her victims in to utmost frustration, which is when she gives the final blow.

This is what got the H.I.V.E.'s eye set on the sorceress in the beginning, and surely what led her to become their top pupil, and further to give her leadership of her own team composed of two other students, Gizmo and Mammoth. From disturbing the peace to robbing banks, the trio made their way up the ranks, eventually catching the eyes of Slade.

With this new honor, the three were dispatched to take control of the Teen Titans Tower, and even though the three succeeded in running them out, it was only the birth of yet another ongoing rivalry between good and evil. Multiple times thereafter have the two groups met on unfriendly terms. Even after the destruction of H.I.V.E.

With this new rivalry between the two teams created, smaller feuds. Hers was with the one called Raven. Multiple times where they were pitted in a dispute, and every time it had been more of a challenge to bring the Telekinetic down to size. This keeps them at each other's necks whenever their paths cross.
