Niamh is the owner of the faewyld tavern called "Bloom". She inherited the business from its original owner and proprieter some several hundred years ago, when the Olde World was still prevalent in The Sidhe. 

Niamh is a púca, a shapeshifter who brings luck, both good and bad. She has held the power to cripple kingdoms should her ire be earned or bring them extreme prosperity. Though these days have long since passed, she still enjoys adding a little luck wherever she goes.

It is rumored, that Niamh is not in-fact a Púca- as she leads others to believe - but is a mischievous Tuatha de Danann herself. This is merely a rumor and has no evidence or firm support behind it. The Púca often parades as a rabbit when she is not keeping herself busy and happy with entertaining Blooms guests. 

*Púca — The púca (Irish for spirit/ghost; plural púcaí), pooka, phouka is primarily a creature of Celtic folklore.[1] Considered to be bringers both of good and bad fortune, they could help or hinder rural and marine communities. Púcaí can have dark or white fur or hair. The creatures were said to be shape-changers, which could take the appearance of horses, goats, cats, dogs, and hares. They may also take a human form, which includes various animal features, such as ears or a tail.
