Personality

After leaving his island country Gilgamesh made the pilgrimage to the Holy Land Mary Geoise only to find it had been taken down some years back after doing some research he learned of what had happened. 

Gilgamesh then learned of the passing of the pirate king and his passing. It was then that Gilgamesh knew what he had to do, as if a sign from the heavens themselves he vowed to become the next pirate king in order to return home as a king for his people. 

It took some time preparing to become a pirate such as intense training and getting a suitable ship.

Sonaetsukeru Sonaetsukeru no mi or the Equip Equip fruit is a devil fruit that allows it's user to store any amout of weapons and armor in a sort of pocket dimension that can be summoned and equipped at will, Any metal or partially metal object within five feet of the user can be pulled into the pocket dimension, though the limits of this fruit are unknown there are still withdraws. Even though the weapons and armor are not actually equipped to the user, the weight of the items are still felt by the user as if he is holding onto them meaning the user would have to limit the amount of items he has or else be crushed by the weight. Strangely enough Gilgamesh doesn't show signs of being burden by any weight which brings the question of how strong he really is. 

His skills in Haki is also noteworthy, excelling in Busoshoku Haki, even being able to fuse his golden Haoshoku haki into it. He has yet to further his Kenbunshoku Haki only being able to sense things nearby.
