Ariadne Polemas

Ariade was once a powerful demi-goddess to whom soldiers prayed before battle. She would give them courage, strength, and when needed, the blood lust that would get them through a gruesome fight. As one of Ares' lovers, she held some favor, until Athena was born and named the Goddess of War. Her brother's counterpart and Zeus' favored daughter, Athena quickly gained the favor of soldiers and their prayers and worship.

When Zeus found out that others were still praying to the demi-goddess, he cast her out of Olympus to live her immortal life amoung the mortals. He separated her from her husband, Dionysus, and all the other gods of Olympus. She was invisible to them it seemed, only Zeus knew to where he had banished her. Prayers were heard, but she could not answer them from the mortal world and she felt those who wroshiped and prayed to her slowly fading or dying in battle. Athena's pride would not allow her to protect those that called to another diety.

Ariadne became a lover of the arts and took to collecting pieces from the Spartan wors, the fall of Athens, and even the fall of the ruins that crumbled after Olympus went quiet. As the modern world progressed, she moved to a bigger city where she was able to take her collected pieces and become the curator of the Grecco-Roman exhibit. No one was nearly as knowledgeable about the wars that had been fought so many centuries ago and she remembered every one like it was only the day before.

OOC:

I'm pretty easy to get along with. I don't mind ooc exchange to discuss a possible plot or scene, but please do not approach me with the stupid, smutty, pointless questions. I will not respond.
If you PM me and I don't respond its because I have a busy life and probably had to walk away from my computer. I will eventually get back to you unless you've broken the rule above.
Questions are good. Grammar is amazing. Story is adored.
