Stories, fairytales, happy endings, happily ever afters are all real. A place in Maine called Storybrook where all manners of fairytale people live. But things are starting to fall apart.

My name is Emma Swan, they call me the Savior. I once saved a town from a curse put there by the evil queen. We didn't get along at first, hell, we wanted to kill each other, still tried to kill my family multiple times. But she and I did have one thing in common, Henry, my, our son. It's a long story and it starts in Arizona a long time ago.

I was a thief, Neal was my partner in crime. Until I went to prison and he was no where to be seen. It was there I found out I was pregnant with Henry, but I didn't want him, I felt I wasn't ready to be a mother. It was a close adoption. It would seem fate had other plans for us because 11 years later, he found me in New York. Of course, I didn't want to believe what he was saying. So I took him home and a few days of hanging out with Henry I knew I wanted to stay. And it's been an adventure everyday since then. You just have to believe my story, to believe in magic again.

In this town, Storybrook, I am Sheriff and my father, David is my deputy. You see, I have what I like to call a 'superpower'. I can tell when people are lying to me. It's never let me down yet, that is why I was good at being a Bounty Hunter, which is a long story too. My family and I have been through a lot together and met a few new people along the way. A changed evil queen, a reformed pirate named Hook and even Pongo, yes the dog from that one movie. All these stories are twisted, not the stores you grew up with, or the movies you've watched before.

There are so many stories that need to be told. I have already lost a part of my story after Neal died, but then Killian was there to pick up my broken pieces and put me back together. I think we pick each other up. Of course, I had no idea what I was getting myself into with a pirate, but I know I love him very much. And I want to spend the rest of my life with him. But sometimes, I know, deep down he is still a pirate and follows his code. Even with deep dark pasts, there is always second chances. Here in Storybrook, there is room for redemtion and second chances.
