He has no sympathy for any pirate or any criminal as he will either arrest or kill them the first chance he would get.  He has had his moments of kindness when sparing his brothers or even letting his sister getting away with infractions that would require execution otherwise. But he tends to do whatever he wants in the name if justice.

Like His little Brother,  Edward was born on the desert island of Alabasta. Born to a Marine admiral and pirate that fell in a secret love. From there He rose Rank after Rank until reaching the position He was in now. Now He spends His days juggling boring paperwork. Though in light of recent events, He found his father. Taking more sympathy on His pirate siblings as they took their lifstyles more serious than He did.
