Yuma has refined manners. Even though he might have a polite, sophisticated way of speaking, his words tend to come with a biting edge. He values rules and demands that they are followed by others, but he creates many strange rules. Despite how rigid he may seem, he still has some sense of humor (albeit a dry one).

Shown by how he values rules, Yuma is a strict person towards both himself and those around him. He is an arrogant, prideful person who demands perfection and dislikes submitting to weakness. His brother sometimes use Yuma's love for kitchenware to coerce him into cooking for him by saying that he'll use the kitchen himself - his brother has a penchant for destroying it when he uses it. Raito is the one that loves to tease Yuma the most with endless pranks but usually hide and try to put the blame on someone else.

Yuma has waist length reddish colored hair, with a lighter blondish color to the tips, and celadon green eyes like his brother. His narrow green eyes resemble snake eyes. His normal wardrobe contains shirts that have low colors so that they hang from his shoulders with some kind of artistic design on the front, his jeans are normally black and fitted for his body rather well. He wears a black and red cival war like coat with the primary color black and the red around the shoulders and front pannles, he notable never wears it shut and keeps it open most the time unless he is seen in a rare moment without it. He wears two belts that cross over his waist in a cross over pattern, each belt is connected to the pouches that have belts around his thighs. He has black boots in gothic fasion, each boot have three black and silver straps across the shoe strings, around the bottom outside edges they have metal plats that he uses to break bone when he delivers a well place kick to someone.
