STORY / PERSONALITY

Tsuchi was born on January 2nd, 00XX. Capricorn and a stubborn (Dai) Yokai to boot, but he is a sucker for emotions and stories. He loves to cause trouble in inconspicuous ways and is sometimes a great liar, but he is horrible at finishing things he starts --becoming easily side-tracked, when more interesting opportunities appear before him-- Though it can backfire, because of his desires to see things through until the end. He enjoys a good party or get-together, but is reclusive when he has been wore out by others, in which he retreats to somewhere secluded to recharge his batteries.

Live birthed in a cold, wetland environment many of his siblings died after a few hours. Tsuchi and
a few others managed to survived by eating the dead body of their siblings, before brumating
under small objects, until the winter was over.

Life Growing Up

After the harsh cold passed, basics were needed for survival, but being born as a demon made things much easier for Tsuchi. He learned how to transform around mid age, to conceal his identity from natural predators, including and not limited to: Large Birds, Boars, Mongooses, Raccoons, Foxes, Coyotes and even larger kin. Family reunions were never easy-- given this fact.

What is a (Tsuchi) Noko-Snake?

A snake-like being. Described as being between 30 and 80 centimetres in length, similar in appearance to a snake, but with a central girth that is much wider than its head or tail, and as having fangs and venom similar to that of a viper. Some accounts also describe the tsuchinoko as being able to jump up to a meter in distance. According to legend, some tsuchinoko have the ability to speak and a propensity for lying, and they are also said to have a taste for alcohol. Legend records that it will sometimes swallow
its own tail so that it can roll like a wheel.

His Journey Thus Far

[2017-06-20] - Tsuchi was discovered to have the ability to brew stronger poisons with his body--- by drinking the blood of a toxic demon. This discovery was made when Tomoe, Tsuchi and Kenshi defeated a strong (Dai) Yokai, that was released from a sealed away jar, found within one of the storages in Kogarashi Ryokan's inn. Due to Tomoe's body getting infected with the demon's poisonous blood, Tsuchi began learning how to cultivate antidotes.

Well as you can imagine Tsuchi is a typical friendly person, but he isn't as open to just making you his friend! You both would have to get to know each other first!
