Personality
Mullan is a firey, hotheaded man with a legendary temper. Put this Moltres in a bad mood, and you're bound to get burned. His temper leads to him getting into situations that he'd otherwise not want to be in. He's impatient, and can be quite rude. He's impatient, and can be a control-freak. He likes things to go his way, and can at times, shut out the opinions of others in favor of his own.
Mullan is a calculator. He spends a lot of his time observing the things around him. He's a good judge of character as well. When he places down his judgement upon an individual, it usually is for a good reason.
This being said, Mullan can come off as cocky and condescending, as he doesn't waste his time around individuals he doesn't judge to worth his time. He's very selective with who he spends his time with. Combine this with his prideful nature, and you get a man who comes off as pompous at times.
In reality, Mullan is a very caring individual. He sees everyone in this world as his equal until they prove themselves otehrwise. This Moltres seeks to find connections in the world he lives in, and to become more than just a Legendary Pokemon. He sees this title as cumbersome, and his duties as a guardian, although he takes that duty seriously, he finds it as a hinderance in his goal to form connections.
Despite his temper being his fatal flaw, Mullan is an extremely loyal individual, and would follow those he cares about to the grave..
History
Mollan was born as a Moltres. One out of many others before him. He was born alongside Zapdos and Articuno, and the three served to become three guardians. However, as the young Moltres aged, he more and more grew fascinated with the human race. He watched them through wars and through times of peace. He even made a few friends with them. He became intrigued with them. Watching them live lives together made the Moltres long to have connections like theirs. But as the years rolled by, He found that his place was in the skies, serving his job as a guardian.
He grew frustrated at this. He wondered why individuals had to be born into a certain role, and couldn't be anything more than that. The frustrated and tired Moltres sought out assistance. He approached a human friend of his, a former criminal who wanted to make up for his crimes. The young man pointed the Moltres in the direction of a group of scientists who were working on a strange project. The last the Molres remembered was entering a lab with his friend, and waking up hours later in a human body, his friend nowhere to be found. To his horror, his friend's body had been used to create his new body. Enraged, Moltres broke free and burnt his way out of his containment. It was later that he realized that his friend's sacrifice of his body was one done by choice.
Taking on the name of Mullan, he set out to live a new life, where he could form connections and be his own man. Or....'mon.
