Despite his status as a gang leader, Mikoto actually cares little about the title and at one point in his life, questioned why he even had it. He is quite lazy and spends a lot of his time sleeping, which he does so much that he is able to fall into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds. Likewise, he is not affected from being woken up by a head slam, reacting calmly when such an incident occurs. In contrast to this casual nature of his, Mikoto has been said to be the most violent-tempered of all the gang leaders in history, such a statement being more evident in his younger years. Mikoto also appears to have bad manners. Ceri notes that he has complained about being served food many times yet eats it all anyways. Food is occasionally an attribution to Mikoto's dark sense of humor. He once suggested to name a horse "Basashi" and grew hungry once he looked at its shoulder, which is a known part of the horse to be commonly eaten.

Mikoto possesses a genuine relationship with all of his gang members and cares for their well-being. However, since Yuki's death, he has since been more quiet and distant towards them. Nonetheless, his genuine concern for them has not wavered and he remains close to all his gang members. Mikoto is an avid smoker, having smoked since his early teens.

Mikoto is a tall, muscular man with red hair and amber eyes. His red hair is kept short, ruffled, and spiked, with two strands of hair near the opposite sides of his head falling over his face, as well as distinct sideburns. As a teenager, his hair, while still short and ruffled, was messier and his bangs fell across his forehead. Since at that age, there have been light creases under Mikoto's eyes, which he still has.

He wears a black, leather jacket with a fur collar and a white V-neck underneath. He wears dark blue, denim jeans held up by a simple brown belt, with a silver chain attached from the belt to his back pocket, additionally with black shoes to top off the rest of his outfit. Mikoto wears other jewelry pieces with his clothes, primarily silver: a silver ring, and a star-shaped necklace. He also has a piercing in his left ear, which once belonged to someone that died.

Ninjitsu is the ancient art of the shinobi, it is a unique method of movement and thinking which developed the system often referred to as the art of winning. Taijustu is the basic defence method used. This method of relaxed continues body movement allows the user to create a never ending list of effective counters to any given defence situation and is unique to Ninjitsu.

Techniques cover locks, throws, ground fighting, multiple attacks, modern weaponry. And all types of traditional Ninjitsu weaponry In fact in Ninjitsu there is no restriction on the types of available techniques that can be added onto taijutsu.

He uses movements that are so unpredictable that when combined with his marital arts techniques can be more deadly than one would think since he can attack from all angles with his immense flexibility. He has random attack patterns that may not make much sense since he is willing to take chances that others would not risk. He is not scared to even go outside his own marital arts to counter someone with his pure acrobatics alone. Flame Slash: Mikoto engulfs his left hand with his aura and holds it in the air, then pulling it back closer to his face. A wave of the aura is ejected and sent towards a great distance at a relatively high speed. It is able to horizontally slice through an entire clock tower and cause the upper half to collapse. Red aura: As the red king, Mikoto has power over fire, imbibing itself in a red-colored aura. When exerted, the aura has great offensive potential to allow Mikoto to attack his enemies. The aura also provides defense, as it was able to protect him against the chi attack of a teacher. He can use the aura on a whim to create attacks that are extremely potent; most of the attacks cause burning damage to those hit, in some cases these attacks can even cause forth degree burns to those with special deffense lower than seventy percent of his own special deffense.

As the counselor to this school he carries around a prescription pad that allows him to write out many different prescription that students will need to keep their mental health in working condition. He has had to use this over the decades more than one would think for a school but when students get their pride stomped in each day there will always be a need for him and that prescription pad. He also carries at the least two packs of cigarettes on him at all times, with that said he has a black zipo with a red anarchy symbol on both sides. He also normally carries many knives in his coat as well as his phone with all the other teachers and staff's numbers in it.
