Theme 1Destructive Angel

A once good friend of the Shogun, he served loyally as a naval master for the shogunate. His prowess at sea as well as tactics earned him quite the reputation. Many battles fought and won, he commanded as such with minimal casualties in even the worst of odds. Be it a genius or extremely lucky he has put many a ship down in his servitude under the Shogun. Though times would change and the fearless daimyo was deemed a threat to the Shogun, many shady dealing would be had unbeknownst to Mishima that would lead to his ‘death’. The Daimyo was betrayed by his fiancé and members of his elite council. His lips would meet with poison rendering him unconscious, shackled and cast into the sea he was presumed dead. As fate would have it the Phoenix would be reborn with a vengeance that burned hotter that the sun. He would take his time to recover and appear back at his fortress in Hokkaido months later. It would be erased from history the atrocities he left in his wake as he stormed his own fortress and ended the lives of everyone that had betrayed him. The Fortress was razed and reconstructed for the reborn Phoenix. Once Mishima had gotten wind of his once close friend’s betrayal, his rage was refueled as he set his sights on crushing the shogunate.

The Flames Of Vengeance Will Ravage The Battle Field And Reduce My Enemies To Ash

 

Mortal Reminder - Passively when struck in a hostile manner his aura will lash out in small explosions in the air against attackers melee or ranged. These bursts reach out 20 feet and knock back objects hit by the blunderbuss like explosions, a stat check of 3 or below on defense stuns a target anything higher will be staggered or pushed back a few feet. The explosionts do not discern between friend or foe.

 

Ichor Naptha - Mishima summons forth a napalm tsunami that rushes forth and sweeps away things caught in its path. Lands will be scorched and seas will be set ablaze as it crosses it. Objects and people hit by the tsunami are set ablaze and ignited by the napalm. For those who try to douse the flame it will fail miserably and spread to anyone in the near vicinity of said individual. For those looking upon an individual trying to extinguish the flames with water will have their morale dropped in the form of -2 to perception. A soul unlucky enough ignited by the napalm will receive a decrease in defense by -1 per post, upon reaching the third post strength and agility will begin to drop -1 per post as they begin to receive severe burns. Reaching the 6th post the stats will drop by -2 and will double again at the 12th post if the napalm is not removed. This ability does not distinguish between friend or foe.

 

Hands of The Fire God - The Daimyo is infused with his element and is immune to it unless his opponent has a score of 10, his weapon will be engulfed in flame if he decides to use it. Super heating his hands he can catch metal objects in his hands as they slag before impact and be rendered useless, wooden objects would burst into flames and ash, living beings to be burned and if held long enough spontaneously combust. Depending on where a person is grabbed initially different status ailments will be applied, A character grabbed by the head suffers perception drops of -1 and -5 to charisma if held for too long as they face begins to char, being grabbed by the arms or hands suffers a drop to strength by -1 as agonizing burns are applied to them, legs or feet grabbed suffer a -1 in agility. These debuffs can only be applied once per set of limbs and remain until fixed by a healer. If all sets of debuffs have been applied the debuffs of str def and agi are -2 instead. Being grabbed again on the torso after this point will cause the person to combust internally and burn alive.

 

Phoenix Risen - The Daimyo envelopes himself in a protective sphere of magma which heals him of wounds and cleanses his body of ailments. Shortly after he will then draw all of the energy from the sphere cooling it creating an obsidian like egg. Once he has absorbed all the heat energy from the sphere he will expunge the energy sending obsidian shrapnel in all directions that will hit friend and foe alike. He becomes super charged from the white flaming aura that engulfs his body, he can gain flight as he is essentially jet propelled by his flames. His physical stats are increased by half of his current stats in this state, Agility and strength increased from the flames propelling him and his attacks, defense due to the intense heat he gives off; mortal reminders range doubles. It will last the duration of a large scale battle. This ability has a 7 post duration and when finished his physical stats are dropped by three until rested.
