Courage

Hailing from a foreign land, Xiao is an unwelcomed figure in Japan. The Chinese Warlord, eager for conquest gathered her armies and traveled East. Dedicated to eradicating the land of blights upon the beautiful earth, her ideals can be a bit... over zealous. Hailing from a nomadic tribe, she differs greatly from the nobility, and civilized social elites of her country. Her upbringing guiding her to be humble to the earth, and fierce in her resolve. Though she has risen from a less than ideal past, she has proven to be educated and analytical. Providing faultless manuevers and strategies which helped her gain rank in her endeavors. It is with such knowledge and a progressive prowess upon the battle field that at such a young age she raised to the status of a Warlord. || Despite such efforts, she is still belittled and frowned upon by those -corrupted with greed- who have seats of power amongst nobility. It is this reason she has sought conquest and ventured further east into Foreign territory in an effort to prove herself worthy of the Gods and of her people. Though she does not speak out often, she can be compassionate. Even if it's simply about spilling blood in sacrifice to the Gods.

Understanding

There is little to life, that can not be earned. That which is not earned, can not be enjoyed to its fullest. This was a lesson learned in the early years of Xiao's childhood. Though she was the first born to the Nomadic Tribes leader, succession was not a guarantee. From birth, there were many a great expectations of the female child. Born with an innate affinity for Nature, there was no stopping her given their constant enviornment. Even in infancy Xiao was a quiet child, intelligent, but rather than acting out she usually spent her time watching. Studying. Into her toddler years, she began acting. Not in the way most children did, wondering at the world, she wondered at the art of battle. Often spending her time quietly listening to the stories of war from her elders. As she became a teenager, she expressed a great prowess in battle. A sharp mind built for tactical, strategic approaches. A natural affinity for Nature based magics had proven to be useful, even if her chosen skill was with a bow.

She imbued her bow and arrows with a part of herself, embedding her magic deep within the handmade weapons, sealing them with blood and sweat and tears. In the beginning, her father always told her it would never be enough to save her, but it would be enough to lead their people in victory, should it ever arise. Even with the birth of her younger sister, the attention never strayed from Xiao. Even when Yesheng promoted a more open attitude towards the world, and a physical attunement with stone. It was these very differences that drew Xiao to truly connect with Yesheng in their adolescence. She used her sisters power for her own gain and vice versa. Yesheng held no desire to take their fathers place, she supported Xiao whole heartedly, believing she was the strongest of the siblings. Whether that faith swayed when their brother was born. Xiao never knew. When Xiao turned 14, her father had told her, that one day... she would be a queen. A promise she assured him as ridiculous, she was going to be a warrior!

The reality of her fathers words sank in a year later, when at 15 Xiao was sent away with a convoy from the Emperor. Though she did not understand, exactly, what the Emperor wanted with her... she used the opportunity in her advantage. Upon her arrival to the Palace, a thief was making an attempt to escape with valuables belonging to the Empress. In earnest to instill justice, Xiao reacted out of instinct. Not only did she stop the thief, who had evaded Royal forces, she prevented the thief from taking the Emperors Life. In the split moment it took her to conjure her vines and pierce the thiefs heart with an arrow... the Thief had drawn a weapon to strike down the man who stood in his way. That man, had been the Emperor. Impressed, and indebted to Xiao, the Emperor allowed her to plead her case. He agreed to allow her to enlist in his army, to serve her years as his loyal hound.

By the time Xiao was twenty, she had wormed her way from the bottom. Taking control as Captain, and soon General. For the following six years she served the Emperor. Putting her life on the line to ensure his will was met, to ensure that his enemies trembled merely at the mention of his name. Though, as she turned twenty-six, Xiao felt severely insulted. The Emperor had claimed that Xiao's time as a warrior was enough, it was time she become a woman. Settle down and learn to be a proper wife. He had given her a weeks time to choose her successor and say her farewells to her army. Rather than follow her orders, Xiao refused to ever meet her Fiance, rather she used that time to gather her men and supplies. Preparing a sizable armada to take to the seas. She headed east to Japan. She would conquer Japan in the name of China and prove to the emperor, she was worth more as a warrior than she ever would be a simple wife.

• Profile Code — As a result of google, patience, and help from a friend this profile was put together by myself. If you would like to use it, or render it in anyway, feel free. It's just code, so long as you don't steal the character I'm happy. Just change it up a bit, okay?

• RP — I prefer story over smut. I can not stress this enough. I also prefer to keep her within Feudal Era Fantasy, or Fantasy in general. See the "Sengoku Warring States" room for more information. | Feel free to PM with posts or ideas. I don't bite... hard. ♥

• Post Length — I am a Novella writer, this means multiple paragraphs. However it is not required of my partners. I understand sometimes the motivation just isn't there or the muse's are working against you. That's fine. However, I will not accept anything less than semi-para, unless simply goofing off in chat.

• Partner preference — I prefer male partners. Hands down. No questions asked. Males only.

• Real life vs RP — This is where I post something bitchy about no drama, please. There is a huge line between Real life and Roleplay. I will not cross it and I request that you do not either. I don't mind friendly ooc chit chat or playing games off site, however it does not mean I want your penis, or anything of that sort. Respect me, and I will respect you. Thank you.

Honor

• Aspect of the Wild — Depending on location conditions, Xiao can summon wildlings of the jungles depths. One creature spawns for every two members of Xiaos existing army, increasing her numbers. These creatures are built with a base stat of 1 strength higher than Xiao's own, all other stats mirror. These creatures differentiate between friend and foe, and move like any soldier on command. They are equipped only with their likeness, thorned blades, vine whips, or poisoned thorns. Adding to Xiaos imposing nature, when active they decrease enemy charisma by 1 every other post. Their existance persist based on the charisma of Xiao's army. This ability pulls on Xiao's own charisma, which drops by 1 point every two posts. When depleted, it takes a 10 post round before it can be reactivated, this charisma drop also effects the enemy for 10 post round. If Tudijun is active, the wildlings can be spawned despite location conditions.

• Hell Fire Rain — Twelve vines lash out at a 40' radius, entrapping those within their reach. Constricting them with throny vines while a single arrow, lit on fire, is shot towards the heavens. Once fired, the arrow multiplies, raining down upon those trapped within the vines. Spanning out in a circle radius. Chances of being hit are 2/5, (Dice roll) ,the duration of the CC is four posts, vines remain active until severed otherwise. *This move does not differentiate between friend or foe. *Those caught are forced to waste an action. I.E. Offensive action against roots, or Defensive action against raining arrows or Flee.

• Death Blossom —A ranged ability, when the arrow strikes the earth or her target, a giant flower errupts from the ground. Knocking up anyone within a 80' radius. Whilst simultaneously swallowing anyone who falls into the flowers maw, closing in on them with bone crushing force. In addition, the moment the flower sprouts, it releases toxic spores into the air, poisoning those who breath them in directly ( The spores only effect those with an element lower than 6). Additionally the spores do not have a limited reach. They, like most pollen, spread rapidly and cover a massive distance. *This move does not differentiate between friend or foe. *Those poisoned have 24 hours to seek a cure, if their strength stat is lowe than Xiaos, those with a strength stat higher than Xiao's may roll for the chance of survival.. The only known cure is held by Xiao Niao. If unpleased with turn out, a false cure can be given. False cure staves off symptoms for an additional 72 hours before resulting in death.(False cures are used on those with a perception of 5 or lower.)

• [Ultimate] Tudijuns Cry — With vicious war cry, Xiao summons the Jungle itself. Firing a single arrow into the sky, it's typical landing place is nearer to the center of the warring armies. As it lands, the ground shakes, rumbles, and errupts in a mass of plant life. Carnivorus plants begin sprouting. Snapping at the limbs of nearby enemies. At it's center, the single arrow is torn from the earth as a mass of twining wood and plant arises ( for 200' span). The Giant gives a returning cry, fueled by Xiao's burning desperation and strong will, he turns his might against her opposing enemies. All Wildlings within the Jungle are regenerated once after death while Tudijun is active, his presence alone striking fear into anyone with an intelligence stat 6 or below, leaving them stunned for one post (unable to attack immediately). Dropping inteligence by 1 for every post and Tactics by 1 for every post active. Tudijuns Strength is 3x and Melee is 4x Xiao's. This ability is vastly draining, depleting her strength by 2 every three posts. When her strength is completely depleted, Xiao has three turns to recall Tudijin or she will fall unconscious.
