Yoriko is a man with more than just a chip on his shoulder. He has a sour attitude and is very anti-social. At least, in the beginning.
Yoriko lets his past experiences dictate his life and, though he knows it's not a healthy way to live, he hasn't quite figured out how to let his baggage go. He's not completely unfriendly. Though he's quick to give a snide remark or a barbed taunt, he's also quick to compliment those who deserve it. He appreciates and respects those who work hard.
If you're lucky enough to break through his very rough and cold exterior you would be surprised to find that the man behind the mask is a kind one. Yoriko is very loving, and very, very protective. Should he deem anyone that close, or that important to him, he would willingly throw his life down for them.
This does lead to unnecessary problems, though. He is absolutely the jealous type, to the point that it's a bit overbaring. He's quick to pick fights with people who get too close to those he cares about, and these fights are often more than just an insult or two.
