While she is the Princess of Sarasaland, Daisy may not have many direct responsibilities as a ruler. However, she has a duty that is arguably just as important: the girl radiates confidence and positivity, rarely seen without a smile for very long. Daisy is upbeat almost all of the time, with an aggressive competitive side to match. Though she happily wears dresses, it wouldn't take long for others to see her most unladylike personality come to light.

Sarasaland has generally always gone without dealing with dangers or crises; a world record long shattered by nothing short of an alien invasion. The four Kingdoms united under Daisy's rule (Birabuto, Muda, Easton and Chai) quickly fell to the interstellar invader Tatanga. One might wonder how a kingdom with such a powerful military and history of peace could fall so quickly... but the answer is simple. Tatanga kidnapped Daisy, and threatened to harm her if the King retaliated! Knowing he could do nothing himself lest he risks his daughter's life, the King contacted Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom, a long-term ally. Explaining the situation to her, Peach made a simple, swift decision that was executed without delay. When all hope seemed lost to stop Tatanga's crusading conquest, Mario and Luigi came to the country's side, reclaiming all four Kingdoms from the alien! The brothers then defeated Tatanga and rescued Princess Daisy. To this day, she remains a close friend of theirs, participating in all the special events the Mushroom Kingdom decides to hold...

Theoretical Smash Moveset

Daisy functions a lot like Peach... though with clear differences. Where Peach can stop all vertical momentum in favor of hovering in the air for a short time, Daisy instead can hover indefinitely, but she slowly loses height like a flower in the wind.

Where Peach attacks in a lady-like manner with slaps and rainbows, Daisy will straight up punch and headbutt her enemies.

Special Moves

STANDARD SPECIAL: "Dice Block"
A direct reference to Mario Party, Daisy holds a spinning dice block over her head. She can throw it at someone. If the block hits someone, a number 1-10 will be displayed. The target will not only take damage equivalent to the number but also knockback equivalent. If Daisy is holding something and she uses this move, she will throw what she's holding with more power and distance behind it than normal.

SIDE SPECIAL: "Daisy Bomber"
Taken directly from Peach's moveset, Daisy thrusts her rear forward, causing anyone she hits to receive an explosive blast and a small flurry of flower petals.

UP SPECIAL: "Pop Fly"
A direct reference to Mario Super Sluggers. Daisy equips her famed baseball glove and leaps high into the air straight up. While the move does no damage, it has incredible vertical recovery. Any projectile or item that hits Daisy while she is performing Pop Fly is automatically caught/grabbed, and she suffers no damage. Much like Villager's Pocket, Daisy can produce the captured item/projectile later on and use it. The next time she uses Dice Block, it will be the caught object used instead of a Dice Block.

DOWN SPECIAL: "Bombshell Koopa"
Daisy pulls a Bombshell Koopa out of her dress. What is a Bombshell Koopa you ask? Much like a normal Koopa Troopa, when stepped on they recoil into their shells. However, these Sarasaland natives differ greatly at this point. Instead of allowing themselves to be kicked in their shell, when they retreat in, they SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST. If Daisy throws a Bombshell Koopa at someone, the first hit will cause the turtle to tuck inside it. A second later... BOOM! If Daisy does the Down Special once again, she will kick the Bombshell Turtle. As you can imagine, the kick causes the koopa to tuck in, so it's the explosion that hits opponents!

Smash Attacks

SIDE SMASH: "Superball Daisy"
Daisy shoots a Superball at the ground at a downward angle. The Superball bounces into the air at an angle and continues for four seconds. Tremendous reach, incredibly difficult to aim.

UP SMASH: "Torpedo Strike"
Unlike most Up Smashes, this move is dependent upon which direction Daisy is facing. Daisy performs a backflip while kicking upwards. Anyone caught in it will be knocked into the air, where she follows it up with a powerful kick at a downward direction in the direction she was facing at the move's start. Considering the unusual downward trajectory, this move could KO near edges. A direct reference to Mario Super Sluggers.

DOWN SMASH: "Daisy Donut"
Daisy pulls a Standard Kart out of nowhere and jumps inside, spinning around in a quick circle, launching anyone hit by it. A direct reference to Mario Kart.

Throws

FORWARD THROW
Daisy headbutts her opponent, her crown's sharp points the focus of her attack.

BACK THROW
Daisy pulls her opponent behind her, then turns around and sucker punches them.

UP THROW
Daisy tosses her opponent above her head, then jumps head-first into them, her crown launching them.

DOWN THROW
Daisy throws her opponent onto the ground and kicks them in their groin, momentarily immobilizing them.

Final Smash
"Crystal Smash!"

Daisy punches the ground, which causes a dome of orange crystals to shoot up from the ground. Anyone launched up will likely be KO'd. The crystals remain for a little while. Touching them will hurt. Falling onto the crystals from above is a bad idea. Daisy is immune. A direct reference to Super Mario Strikers Charged.
