Jin was an oprhan that came to be raised by monks that took him in after the great war. From a young age he was disicplined and trained in the arts of Tai Chi, mastering it at a young age. His drive to better himself and strive for balance would not go unnoticed by the temple monks that acted as parents. To see him better himself they sent him on his way to school at Hokkaido a place where they knew he could grow even further than what they could teach.

In his time in hokkaido he was well above the rest and aced his exams , a prodigy making a name for himself with each year he attended. Learning all he could in his arts his junior year he picked up BJJ as a secondary art and incorporates it with his Tai Chi. Versed in CQC there were very few that could stand toe to toe with him. Of his losses 35 of them Were from Titan; the school legend that still urks the halls of Hokkaido. Oddly enough he picked up using a reversed blade katana and implimented it with his Tai chi, a tool he uses more defensively than anything against others who use weapons.

Quick silver: Chi is used to quicken his speed, strikes become close to invisible and can be extremely lethal if not careful. Though it is common for Jin to use his speed moreso for positioning.

Equilibrium: Through the mastery of his arts Jin will always remain standing when he wants to be so long as he has one limb touching the ground. His nimbleness along with this feat can give him some pretty amazing angles of attack and escape from attacks; he has been known to even pivot on his heel in almost unrealistic ways that would seemingly defy gravity.

Chakra: The expulsion of his Chi from his limbs while attacking, an unseen force by natural means that adds length to his attacks. Extensions of his attacks IE weapons can be Chi infused but to lesser effect.
