Ninetails was originally the ruller of Oni Island, and was promised to be ruler of Ryoshima Coast by the dark lord, Yami. Taking over the young maiden Rao, Ninetails was able to terrorize the residents of Sei-an city as well as the oceanic dragonian race that neighbored them. When things looked the darkest, however, her rule was brought to an end by the likes of the Mother of All, Amaterasu, after a fierce fight. Mischevious, cunning, and extremely dangerous, this oni is sure to present a challenge to the brawlers, both old and new!

Level: Ryoshima Coast (The Sunken Ship) - THEME -
The contestents find themselves fighting atop of large lillypads in front of a large sunken ship as Amaterasu fights the evil oni plaguing Ryoshima Coast. Brawlers will have to deal with shifting winds, celestial bombs, tides brought on by day and night, and an extremely irritable sea dragon!

Ninestrike Slash: Rao attacks with her electrical multi-pronged. The sword deals massive damage to anything it touches, and also stuns them. The sword then releases an electrical damaging shockwave that moves in a straight path.
Divine Teleportation: Rao can throw a seal and control where it lands before teleporting towards it in a beam of light. Enemies caught between them are damaged and stunned.
Divine Sealing: Rao can throw a seal on the ground in front of her. Enemies that touch the seal are briefly slowed down.
Transform: Allows Rao to transform into Ninetails and vice versa. (Ninetails x2 attack/speed, Rao x2 jump/defense .)
Icestorm (Charge): A large snowflake spawns in front of her and summons both heavy winds and sharp icicles dealing damage and knocking enemies back. The longer it's charged, the bigger the snowflake will be.
Galestorm: Ninetails summons a massive wind to push her up into the air. Enemies caught in the wind around her are both knocked back, and temporarily stunned.
Cherry Bomb: A randomly sized Cherry bomb is spawned in front of Ninetails. It can be pushed by anyone, and explodes after a few moments. Ninetails can not be damaged by this. The cherry bomb deals more damage depending on size.
