One of the Asgardians regarded in norse lore, not much is known about Eir. Seen as a goddess or a valkyrie, she was associated with healing, mercy, and hope. Revered as a healing deity, she is often compared to another goddess, Hygieia. Seen as a handmaiden of Frigg, she is associated with a place called Lyfijaberg, or the healing mountain. She is often prayed to in times of need, such as illness or wounds from battles.
Akin to lore, Eir is the lead healer of Asgard and a gentle being. A young Asgardian who is praised for her healing abilities more so than her combat skills, she is docile and soft spoken. Displaying a sense of serenity and calming that goes hand in hand with her assigned task of tending to the wounded. Capable of pulling beings back from the certainty of death, be it from trauma or horrendous injuries sustained in combat.
Eir is often shown to display an affinity for the color green, but sometimes is shown to have a liking to the color red, like blood. Her favored stones are said to be garnets, because of her like of the color.
Much like the legends of Odin, Thor, and Loki, The goddess Eir is actually an Asgardian and living being living in the realm. When growing up, Eir developed a strong dislike of the two princes, Thor and Loki, because of Thor's battle and glory lusting attitude, and Loki's following along with his brother. Her dislike continued into adulthood, as Thor would often go on his escapades and return with wounded Asgardians she would ultimately end up tending to with the other healers. Reclusive to her gardens when there are no wounds to mend, she does not play an active role currently and avoids conflict as often as possible, but still resides in Asgard for the time being.
Still worshipped as a healing deity, Eir would make trips to earth in order to answer prayers for healing. Across the globe, she had visited many in need of healing, or guidance. Her fair skin and pale hair is radiant with health, causing many to mistake her for an angelic being. Various religions view her with differently, but in each there is a similar deity that serves the same purpose as she does. Her appearances over the decades have decreased however, to a point of where she would rarely make a trip to earth over a vast number of years.
Her visits since have stopped all together due to the destruction of the rainbow bridge. Yet Eir continues to look for a path to get to her loyal followers, even if it means being trapped on earth.

Abilities and other notes.
♱ Superhuman strength ♱
As with all Asgardians, Eir possesses the same immense strengths of her people. Though she does not openly display such strengths due to her conservative and lady like nature. This being said, the fact she took the Valkyrie training has been kept in secret and known only by her mother and trainers.
♱ Rapid cell Regeneration ♱
A strong magic flows in Eir's veins, raw and unfocused it serves as a self preservation device, healing her from most wounds inflicted on her being. Though this does not mean that she can not be killed if massive amounts of damage are inflicted on her being.
♱ Energy Relegation ♱
Her most prominent and famed ability, is her ability to heal other people better than she can even heal herself. Years of practice and training have allowed her to be able to focus her magic, and heal the wounds of others, even the most grave of them. The only wounds she has ever encountered thus far that she could not mend, is beheading, and death.
♱ Tyrfing ♱
A once cursed, magic sword, cursed to never miss a stroke. Upon drawing it, blood must be taken as penance for the one who forced its forage. Eir received the blade when she became Queen of the Enchanters, who had kept in locked away in secret. Due to the blades rumored curse to kill the wielder, Eir was bestowed the blade because of her ability to heal from any wound inflicted on her.
♱ Algiz ♱
A great white Elk that she had been given as a mere calf, when she was a child. Algiz serves as her loyal mount, and will often be in her presence. Not as meek due to an up bringing around Asgardians, the elk serves as a fierce protector and steed on her long treks back and forth from her home to Asgard, and back.
