Everyone thinks they know what they desire. I am a creature purely of sin, from before the title succubus was created by man to illustrate their fear and desire for the unknown. I am hunger manifest but far less intrigued by dinner parties and delicious steak. All I need to sustain this form is your soul. Now I don’t want all of it, never all of it, I just need a taste really. It won’t kill you, at least not the first time. Next time, there will be a little less of you to ease down my throat for the bliss no other thing in this world or any other can give you. What cost true bliss?

Everyone believes they know what it is they want. They don’t. You don’t. You’ve no idea what the world has given you, what has fallen into your lap for the mere opportunity to dwell in my presence. But stay long enough and you will understand the wonders of what you have before it slips away. I am unfazed by your gods and goddesses, your titans and demons. So many clamor for their position and fight endlessly but lack the spark needed to remove me from this immortal coil. I assure you, I know how to fight and outlive.

It’s about humanity anyway, and perhaps the purity of the celestial chorus. I used to belong to that chorus before I became something more: this creature of limitless thirst.
