Story so far: After being released from WWE in 2010, Maria went on to work on her music. Despite her music career taking off and her modeling keeping her afloat, she missed the crowds. She missed being in the ring. So she turned to the indies. Maria worked her ass off, training and getting better all around. She started dating Mike Bennett but WWE wanted her back. She went back into developmental and came back to the WWE in 2012. Unfortunately she broke up with Bennett during that time but ended up back with a man she thought she would never see again. CM Punk. She always said that he was the man she was going to marry and after all that time, seeing him again and spending time with him brought back feelings she thought was gone. Apparently the same had happened to him and now they're back together. Its been eight months since they're rekindled their relationship and its still going strong. At the moment Maria is working as an announcer, but she hopes to get back into the ring soon.

Update!: Maria and Punk are now married. They were wed several months ago  after a fairly long engagement. (Not as long as Nattie's though.) Maria moved from Los Angeles back to Chicago  and is now residing in Punk's  Condo. They still travel together, and Maria is enjoying the perks of having a husband as wonderful as Phil.  They may or may not be working on adding a special addition to their family. What it might be, that's a secret...for now!

Update! : It is official! There's going to be a little Punk or Maria around in 9 months! The sex of the baby is unknown at this time but the new parents are excited for this addition to their now growing family. 

Update!: A little Maria was born September 30th. Audrey Rose Brooks. She was a little small when she was born, but she was a healthy as she could be. And about as sweet as sugar.
