Born of a Linoone gijinka father and a Furret gijinka mother, Erinia grew up middle class, as far as gijinka families go. Everything was fairly average, and Erinia was a typical kid -- getting into trouble and making constant mistakes. She was often reckless in her childish endeavors, and at one point, it ended with her getting lost in the woods.
Normally, Erinia was good at sniffing out familiar scents to lead her back home, but rain had struck and muddled any smells she could possibly use to direct her way back home. To this day, she still hasn't found her family.
It took Erinia a long time to come to terms with what had happened, but at least she knew how to forage for food such as berries. Pokemon instincts were an amazing thing, she always thought to herself. The Furret gijinka lived alone for a few years, often talking to herself to make sure she didn't go mad with loneliness.
That is, until she met a certain serpent.
Jaroda, a Serperior gijinka, stumbled across Erinia one evening. He saw potential in her and offered for her to become his servant. The Furret was reluctant at first, but she accepted when she realized it meant she wouldn't be alone anymore.
Due to her lack of seasoned fighting prowess and manners, Jaroda has had to teach her basic etiquette, battling skills, and how to make tea. Albeit stubbornly, Erinia has taken Jaroda up on his teachings, even though she does have a tendency to slip up a lot when he's not around.
While she and him don't get along at times, she still holds an attachment to the snake. He took her in when no one else would.
